Crescendo Artists Welcomes The Breakfast and Rolla!
We're thrilled to announce the addition of The Breakfast and Rolla to our exclusive agency roster. After winning the Jammy for "Best New Groove" of 2004, The Breakfast is quickly becoming one of the premiere touring acts on the circuit. The band (originally Psychedelic Breakfast) has performed at several marquee festivals, including Bonnaroo, High Sierra, 10,000 Lakes, moe.down, and many more. They've also appeared with Soulive, Steve Kimock, moe., Leftover Salmon, Victor Wooten, and Umphrey's McGee to name a few. The Breakfast recently released their fourth album, Real Radio (Horizon Music Group, 2005), which features guest appearances by Guitarist Jeff Pevar, the Addison Groove Project Horns, Kris Jensen, and Jennifer Hartswick (Trey Anastasio). Rolla is the latest project from Fuzz (guitarist/vocalist – Deep Banana Blackout, Tom Tom Club, Big Fuzz) and Carrie Ernst (singer/songwriter). Fuzz & Carrie have supported several national touring artists, including Blues Traveler, Zen Tricksters, The Motet, Assembly of Dust, and Indigenous. After a year of performing and writing as a duo, Fuzz & Carrie recruited upright bassist David Shuman and drummer Marc Balling to form Rolla. David, Marc and Fuzz worked previously on Fuzz's jazz release, B’gocK! Rolla will celebrate the release of their debut album, La La Land (Cosmos Records, 2005), with an intimate CD release party at the Acoustic Cafe September 28th.
