Biography:
The beauty behind The Photo Atlas is the brotherhood that encompasses the band. It was this relationship that was the adhesive behind the massive sound on their most recent EP - To Silently Provoke The Ghost. 2009. The groups music blends the angularity and drive of Fugazi, the gut-punch of At The Drive-In and the infectiousness of The Faint all into one explosive little package. Their dynamic indie dance rock tracks are coated with vital melodies, explosive guitar riffs and demanding drum beats, which bring a sense of movement to each song. The Photo Atlas have been keeping busy since their previous album release No, Not Me, Never (2008) playing festivals such as the Monolith Festival, as well as the Mile High Festival, Warped Tour, SXSW, CMJ, and XGAMES. The Photo Atlas have kept a rigorous touring schedule playing over 200 shows in 2008 and touring with the likes of The Bravery, Portugal The Man, and Scary Kids Scaring Kids.
